The Aesthetic and Anti-Aging Medicine Society of South Africa (AAMSSA)’s main objective is to provide leadership and support to advance high-quality clinical, educational, and professional standards of care for doctors working in the aesthetics industry, to the benefit of both the patient and the profession.
AAMSSA and its members are governed by the laws of South Africa, and the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) is the statutory body regulating our members.
To achieve its objectives, AAMSSA subcommittees focus on key areas of professional practice, education, research, and outreach.
AAMSSA members are represented by a core group of professionals with exceptional expertise who work on members’ behalf with the HPCSA, SAHPRA, SANC, SAMA, and related medical societies, to the benefit of both the profession and the patient.
