Dr Alastair Clark is in full time Medical Aesthetic Practice at his clinic Sandton Aesthetic Institute in Johannesburg, South Africa.
He designs and delivers courses in the disciplines of filler volumisation, neuromuscular modulation with botulinum neurotoxin, non-surgical thread lifts, IPL and laser, chemical peels, as well as physical treatments of the skin.
Dr Clark has presented and given live demonstrations at numerous international congresses in Europe, Asia and South Africa, including IMCAS Paris and China, World Congress Aesth Med in Monaco, AMCSA and Tehran, Iran.
He has had a career long commitment to education and training Aesthetic Medicine to develop a competent and safe faculty in South Africa.

Dr Debbie Norval graduated as a medical doctor from the University of the Witwatersrand in 1991. She obtained a Diploma in Palliative Medicine through the University of Wales UK, followed by a Masters of Philosophy in Palliative Medicine from the University of Cape Town, and worked at Hospice Witwatersrand for 14 years.
Dr Norval obtained an Advanced Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine through the Foundation for Professional Development in 2012. She holds a City and Guilds Diploma in Adult Teaching and Training and is a trainer for Genop SA, the convener of the Johannesburg Aesthetic Doctors Journal Club and is on the scientific committee of AMCSA.
Dr Norval is the current President of AAMSSA and serves on the Ethics and Professionalism committee of SAAHSP (South African Association of Health and Skincare Professionals) “Dr Debbie Norval Aesthetics” is a busy clinical practice in Parktown North, Johannesburg.

Dr Shahien Dollie – Vice President

Dr Shahien Dollie, an MBChB UCT alumnus, completed his 2-year post graduate Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine cum laude at Pretoria’s FPD campus. He has subsequently completed multiple hands on masterclasses and intense focussed sessions on facial anatomy, physiology, dermatological pathology, as well as numerous non-surgical Aesthetic procedures ranging from Botulinum Toxin and Fillers to PLLA suspension sutures and synthetic hair implants.
He is a co-founder and medical director at The Aesthetic Doctors. Dr Dollie enjoys local training, is a regular speaker at international congresses such as IMCAS and AMWC and is an active contributor and full member of the IMCAS Academy and Dermatological and Surgical International League. Furthermore, he has authored several aesthetic articles in electronic and print media.
Dr Dollie has a passion for education and is an active advocate for the practice of world class aesthetic medicine on South African shores.

Dr Smit has a private practice in Pretoria, South Africa. Her focus of her practice is aesthetic and skin treatments.
Dr Smit is the founder and ex-officio president of the Aesthetic and Anti-Aging Medicine Society of South Africa and chairperson of the Aesthetic Medicine Congress of South Africa.
She is an international trainer on aesthetic medical subjects and author of medical articles, journals and scientific publications. Her field of expertise includes skin rejuvenation, facial injectables (neuromodulators and fillers), Thread Lifting, Chemical peels, Mesotherapy, PRP, Lasers and LED.
Dr Smit is the course developer for the officially recognized Advanced Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine in South Africa. She is also a faculty member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine training doctors in Asia, Africa, Europe and UAE.
Dr Smit is a global KOL for various aesthetic medical and pharmaceutical companies in the industry.

Dr Heidi Frere qualified in 1995 at the University of KZN.
She is the proud owner of Best You Medical Wellness and Aesthetics, in Bryanston. Dr Frere has found her true passion in the integration of Aesthetic, Lifestyle and Functional Medicine.
Dr Frere completed an Advanced Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine (FPD Cum Laude) at the end of 2017. She is currently enrolled with the School of Applied Functional Medicine in the USA and has completed several courses in Integrative and Functional Medicine.
Dr Frere believes in staying current and relevant in her knowledge and attends conferences and masterclasses regularly, in all areas of interest, as to give her patients the highest standard of care.

Dr Alek Nikolic

Dr Nikolic is a General Practitioner with special interest in Aesthetic and Anti-Aging Medicine and is at the forefront of the latest developments in his field. He is very driven and has lectured extensively and has performed live demonstrations throughout South Africa and Internationally including Bangkok, Rome, Paris, Monte Carlo, Prague, China and Warsaw.
Dr Nikolic’s focus is on skin care, skin ingredients and cosmetic dermatology treatments such as Botulinum Toxin, and Dermal Fillers.
Dr Alek Nikolic is the appointed Vice President of the Aesthetic and Anti-Ageing Medicine Society of South Africa and in 2015 received an award for his outstanding contribution to Aesthetic Medicine in South Africa.

Dr Deepa Parbhoo graduated from the University of Witwatersrand in 2007 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree (MBBCh). In 2012, she graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine (FPD Cum Laude). She is currently a member of AAMSSA (Aesthetic and Anti-Aging Medicine Society of South Africa).

Jacques Snyman is a renowned expert in various fields of Clinical Pharmacology and has contributed significantly to the advancement of Clinical Pharmacology in South African. He has lectured extensively locally and abroad on various topics including: Research ethics, Inflammation, Pharmacodynamics, Outcomes Research etc. At present he focuses on clinical trial design and development of managed care products for implementation in the medical Insurance environment.
Published more than 80 publications in International Scientific Journals. Is the Business Development Director Agility Global Health Solutions (Pty) Ltd , the Chair of the South African Medical Association research ethics committee since 1999, President South African Chapter of ISPOR since 2009, is a member of the South African Pharmacology Society, the founder member of the College of Medicine SA in Clinical Pharmacology.

Dr Jacobus van Niekerk is a General Practioner with a special interest in Aesthetic Medicine and Ethics, Johannesburg, South Africa.
He is the current Immediate Past President of the AAMSSA (Aesthetic & Anti-Aging Medicine Society of South Africa), and was the President from 2016 – 2019.
He graduated from the University of Pretoria in 1997, received his BSc Med Sc Hons (Cum Laude) in Reproductive Biology from the University of Stellenbosch in 2001.
He worked in the United Kingdom in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Trauma & Intensive Care and became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburg in 2007 in Accident and Emergency Medicine.
Dr Cobus serves on the Aesthetic Medicine Congress of South Africa (AMCSA) Scientific Committee.

Dr Gerhard van Niekerk is a General Practitioner with special interest in Aesthetic Medicine since 2006.
He focuses on three-dimensional face and body enhancement and rejuvenation with a functional application.
Being a Key Opinion Leader, he lectures both nationally (South Africa) and internationally presenting at Congresses and tutoring at live Master classes.
Individual, natural enhancements and corrections with a multi-layered approach using various modalities, is his key focus during rejuvenation treatments.

Dr Michelle Westcott

Dr Michelle Westcott is a General Practitioner with a special interest in Aesthetic and Anti-Ageing Medicine, and the proud owner or Nu Youth Medical Aesthetics in Ballito & Southbroom, KZN.
Dr Westcott has a unique interest in facial skin rejuvenation procedures that improve skin quality and health, especially mesotherapy. She is committed to raising the profile and safe practices in aesthetic medicine, and helping to establish standards of safety and effective practice through excellence in training.
She is an Executive Committee member AAMSSA, KOL for various Aesthetic Health Companies & Co-director of the Society of Mesotherapy of South Africa (SOMZA.)

Dr Levashni Naidoo

Lev Naidoo completed her undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, graduating MBChB – cum laude in 2006 and obtaining the Fellowship of the College of Dermatology with distinction in 2014 when she was awarded the Peter Gordon Smith medal for academic excellence. During her postgraduate training she was a recipient of the D43- Fogarty- Fellowship Programme which allowed her to complete a short-term fellowship in Epidemiology at The Mailman School of Public Health at The University of Columbia.
She went on to complete her Masters in Medicine in 2015. Post- fellowship she remained at The University of KwaZulu- Natal as a consultant and lecturer. She was awarded a Scholarship from The African Association for Research and Training in Cancer which aided her research in HIV- Kaposi Sarcoma. Her research contributions include articles in peer-reviewed journals and chapters in Dermatology textbooks pertaining to HIV-related dermatoses, pigmentary disturbances as well as inflammatory and infectious diseases of the skin.
She relocated to Johannesburg in 2018 where she founded her own clinical practice, The Dermatology Room located in Hyde Park. She is a member of the South African Society of Dermatological Surgery, The Dermatological Society of South Africa, The Vitiligo Society of South Africa and The Skin Cancer Foundation of South Africa. She presently sits on the editorial board of A2 Aesthetic and Anti-aging Magazine.


Dr Nerina Wilkinson

Dr Nerina Wilkinson is a Plastic surgeon practicing from the holistic Antiaging Renaissance Body Science Institute in Cape Town.
She is a member of the Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and an Exco member of the Aesthetic and Anti-aging medicine association of SA. She is a lecturer and trainer for the Aesthetic Medical Academy and presents scientific papers at congresses and publishes in health-related magazines.
Dr Wilkinson has a major interest in aesthetic surgery of the face, breast and body, closely integrating surgical with other non-invasive procedures.
