The “State of Aesthetics” report is an interesting read. It highlights how GLP-1 medications like Ozempic, known for their weight loss benefits, are now leading to a surge in demand for aesthetic treatments.

The reason is that after weight loss, many patients develop sagging skin and volume loss, with nearly 50% of consumers opting for skin tightening, body contouring, and muscle toning treatments.

Beyond the impact of weight loss drugs, there’s a growing preference for noninvasive treatments that deliver results with minimal downtime.

Neurotoxin treatments, microneedling, skin resurfacing, and even teeth whitening are on the rise, with consumers looking for ways to enhance their appearance without surgery. Biostimulators, are also gaining traction, helping patients achieve a youthful and natural look by boosting the skin’s own regenerative abilities.

Interestingly, 40% of consumers are buying their  skincare products directly from their aesthetic providers, with a shift toward clean, cruelty-free, and sustainable products.
